B-TRAN® Known Good Die (KGD)

B-TRAN® (Bi-directional bipolar junction transistor) is a proprietary, symmetric semiconductor switching device designed to enable true bidirectional current conduction and voltage blocking in a single die.

Unlike conventional power semiconductors, which require back-to-back device configurations for bidirectional operation, a single B-TRAN® die inherently supports operation in both directions. B-TRAN® is offered in KGD form to enable power modules and other custom packaging solutions that best meet individual customer application specifications.
